Hanging out with Miss Mandi was one of the most amazing experiences I had last year #Fact
Mandi – She be too cool for life! I have been a Miss Mandi Throwdown Lover for so so long and is actually one of my all time favorite Kenyans Food Bloggers and she is also a Radio Personality (Catch her on Capital Fm)! Her witty personality, food blogging and travel adventures are totally worth writing about.
How the dinner came up? Long story cut short….I now believe that people actually win online competitions….Lol. So Miss Mandi had a competition on her social media pages offering her followers and foodies a chance to dine with her at Sarova Stanley while watching an episode of Coke Studio. You can imagine the excitement I had when she picked me as one of the five throw down lovers she would dine with.
So fast forward to the day, it was on a Sunday evening and I sat quietly at the Sarova Stanley reception waiting for the rest of the peeps to show up. A few minutes later, Mandi arrived and we proceeded to the Dinner area. Three out of the five throw down lovers couldn’t make it but Charlie and I were all set to represent them….If only that meant eating their share of the food too…Hahaha (Don’t judge yoo…a girl can wish).
The Dinner Menu was simply amazing and everything tasted so good.

It was such an amazing evening…..catching up with Miss Mandi and Charlie and top it all up, delectable food!! You can check out the Dinner Vlog on Mandi’s Youtube channel (Link below). Watching myself on that Vlog has been one of the most weird experiences ever! I was even scared to check it out….Hahaha!!! But turns out….I am not too bad! But am yet to watch it with a straight face….Lol!!
Thank you Miss Mandi……for an opportunity to finally meet you and for simply being my inspiration in the Food Bloggers world. You are amazing #Shedoinherthingtho
