Four, it’s one of the few ways you can get people (like me) to eat raw vegetables and actually like them! Can it seriously get better than that? Nuh? I thought so too!
I have made this salad countless times…..My family has an insatiable appetite for it! It’s never enough and we are always fighting for the last serving of it. But hey, I don’t blame them! I blame the Salad for being too yummy! Over the years, I have tried new ways of making this Salad….some worked perfectly and some, Oh well…not too good but I finally settled down on my favourite way of doing it which i’ll be sharing with you today! Ps. You can have this at any time of the day!
CREAMY MACARONI SALAD!
With enough flavour and pizzazz to stand out on its own....this Creamy Macaroni Salad is a must try!
Cook the Macaroni as per the package instructions then drain and rinse under cold running water until cool.
Meanwhile, whisk the Mayonnaise, Whipping Cream, Sugar and Salt until well combined. You may omit the salt if you boiled your Macaroni in salty water.
In a large mixing bowl, add your cooled Macaroni, sliced vegetables and the mayo-cream dressing. Toss all the ingredients together with a wooden spoon until well combined and boom, your salad is done.
FYI, You can play around with the vegetables - add some or omit some depending on your preference i.e. add in some broccoli or carrots. Easy, right? Like Sunday Morning they say. And perfect like Sunday Night Sleep when you know Monday is a public holiday....Yass! I live for such days!
