You guessed right, another Baby Shower Set Up…. I know, I know….2018 has been a Baby Shower affair at Sally’s Kitchen but I am not complaining, I love them.
My client, Mom-To-Be’s cousin, also happens to be a childhood friend of mine (Hi Adreen 😉 and a lovely cheerleader of Sally’s Kitchen and I was so elated to finally host her. My job description for the day involved Set Up, Catering and Cake…jack of all trades, huh… Lol.
Red and White were the theme colors of the day and I really enjoyed working with those two colors. White was predominant and with pops of red from the roses and the print work. Is my love for gold obvious? I bet it is but i’m sure you can attest to the fact that it binds all other colors together so perfectly.
FOOD & DRINKS
I settled for a simple menu but I was so glad that my clients loved every single bite of it and there was literally nothing left by the time they left the venue. The menu was as follows;
Fried Rice and Coconut Rice
Creamy Pasta Salad (Recipe on Website)
Sweet Corn Salad
Pinacolada Juice and Wine
BABY SHOWER CAKE
I did a 1.5 kg Red Velvet Cake frosted in white whipped cream and with a red white chocolate drip. And the cake was a hit!!
My clients were really happy and satisfied and nothing beats that. I couldn’t feel my feet by the time I sat down to rest at the end of the day but it was totally worth it….sweet pain they say. I give God all the glory.
